Complete a simple Rent-to-Own agreement.

Step 3

Pay your initial deposit, which is typically your first month’s payment plus your last month’s payment. Some larger buildings may require additional money down.

Step 4

We’ll schedule delivery, professionally block and level your building, and have it ready to use—often within just a few days.

Step 5

Make your monthly payments. Once your agreement has been completed, the building is yours.

What Do I Need to Qualify?

Qualifying is easy.

You’ll simply need:

  • A valid driver’s license or government-issued ID
  • A delivery location
  • Permission from the property owner if you do not own the property
  • Income verification (current paystub or bank account)

 

If you’re renting your home or placing the building on a family member’s property, that’s perfectly fine. We simply require the property owner to sign a short site authorization form before delivery.

Absolutely.

You can pay off your Rent-to-Own agreement at any time with no prepayment penalties, allowing you to save money over the life of your agreement.

Your building goes with you.

If you relocate, Southern Building Structures can often move your portable building to your new property for a reasonable relocation fee, provided the new site is accessible and suitable for delivery.
